Your Partner in the New Normal

For some of our clients, survival will be their only agenda item. Others are trying to figure out how to position themselves now that the peak of the crisis has passed, and things return to normal. The question most are asking is, “What will normal look like? “No one knows how long this transition will take, and no one knows if the normal of recent years is what we return to. The new normal will be shaped by our flexibility to adjust our business models to what our customers need as they go through this transition.

We continue to work to dot all our I’s and cross all our t’s on safety. Some of the steps we have taken are: carriers with masks and hand sanitizer, contactless pickups and deliveries, picture POD’s, business to residential deliveries, increased notifications to our customers and our customers’ customers, so they know when a task has been completed.
We’re making significant investments in our technology. We are making it easier and safer for our customers to share important shipment information with their own customers. Custom Labels, custom pickup and delivery notifications by email or text and custom reporting so they can get the information they need when they want it.

We are focused on being a cost-effective option for our clients. The Rush Hour surcharge is still suspended. We are integrating new route optimization software. We can take over some functions that our customers handle in house and provide cost savings. And our team of professionals is available to look at a wide variety of custom ways to lower costs.
We are ready to meet (virtually) and with our clients to figure out how we can help them emerge and thrive! We want to show them that we are an ally. They can use us in the ways that they may not have thought of before. And they can imagine what they need and just ask us for it. “If you don’t see it on the menu just ask.”

Our organization is a partner and we will help them succeed in the new normal by focusing on what has changed and what remains basically the same for them, their customers, and their industry. And helping to create new tools these group now need. The result will be succeeding in an environment that, while different from the past, is no less rich in possibilities.
